Power chords are very simple. They use the same shape all over the fret board. Power chords are a very rock style type of chord. Nirvana are very famous for using power chords.

	This is the basic shape for a power chord. Have a go at moveing this up and down the low E string.
	As you can see from this image power chords can be played on other strings have a go at playing them on diffrent strings.

Power chords can be played on any kind of guitar but i think they sound best and are easyist to play on an electric guitar they just sound better on an electric.
