Barre Chords

Barre chords are very difficult for begginers. To play a barre chord you need a lot of strengh in your left hand. Barre chords are chords where 2 or more strings are barred with your first finger.

Below are images of two types of barre chord.

This image is an F major barre chord. It can be played all the way down the fret board for example if u barre the third fret this would be a G major barre chord
This image is an F minor barre chord. Like the image above this shape can be played all along the fretboard. For example if you move the whole thing up 1 fret it would be an #F minor baare chord.

It is most likely that you will not be able to play barre chords for a while. This is because you might not have enough strengh in you fingers and to be honest it might sound really bad. The more you practice and play the quicker you will be able to do it but it takes some new guitarists months to get it so dont worry about it.
